All of our custom wood signs are carved from Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine-grained fiber and very tight knots, if at all. When we craft signs that are 11" tall or less, we engrave them from 3/4" cedar. Signs taller than 11" are crafted from 1-1/4" laminated cedar, like a butcher block or a bowling alley lane, for additional strength and stability. Our handcrafted, engraved wood signs will retain their warm colors, ranging from mellow amber to reddish cinnamon and rich sienna browns. If you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish, our signs are delivered with using our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher. Use it every summer.
