Beavers are social Critters. They live in large family groups of monogamous parents, young kits, and yearlings. They are second only to humans in their ability to manipulate their environment. Beavers are among the largest rodents on earth. The work of beavers makes them champions at maintaining habitats that others rely on. Besides the wetland, beavers create dead-standing wood (downed trees), which insects inhabit and attract bird life.

All of our wooden signs are carved from Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine-grained fiber and very tight knots, if at all. Wooden signs that are 11 inches tall or less are carved from 3/4" cedar, while signs taller than 11 inches are carved from 1-1/4" laminated cedar for enhanced strength and stability. Our handcrafted, engraved wood signs will retain their warm colors, of mellow amber to cinnamon and rich sienna browns, if you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish with our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher.
