All of our custom wood signs are deeply engraved into Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine-grained grain and very tight knots, if any. When we craft signs that are 11" tall or less, we engrave them from 3/4" Cedar, and signs taller than 11" are crafted from 1-1/4" laminated Cedar (like a butcher block or a bowling alley lane) for additional strength and stability. Our hand-crafted, engraved, wood signs will keep their warm colors ranging from mellow amber, reddish cinnamon, and rich sienna browns if you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish with our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher.
