All of our engraved custom wood signs are crafted from Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine-grained fiber and very tight knots, if at all. When we craft signs that are 11" tall or less, we engrave them from 3/4" Cedar, and the signs taller than 11" are custom-made from 1-1/4" laminated (like a butcher block or a bowling alley lane) Cedar for additional strength and stability. Our handcrafted, engraved wood signs will retain their warm colors, ranging from mellow amber to reddish cinnamon and rich sienna browns, if you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish with our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher.
