All of our carved custom wood signs are made from real Western Red Cedar, featuring beautiful, fine-grained wood and very tight knots, if any. When we craft signs that are 11" tall or less, we engrave them from 3/4" cedar. Signs taller than 11" are custom-made from 1-1/4" laminated cedar, similar to a butcher block or a bowling alley lane, for added strength and stability. Our handcrafted, engraved wood signs will retain their warm colors, ranging from amber to cinnamon and rich sienna browns, if you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish with our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher.
