All of our wood signs are crafted from Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine-grained fiber and very tight knots, if at all. When we craft signs that are 11" tall or less, we engrave them from 3/4" cedar. Signs taller than 11" are handmade from 1-1/4" laminated cedar, like a butcher block or a bowling alley lane, for additional strength and stability. Our wood signs will keep their warm colors of mellow amber, reddish cinnamon, and rich sienna browns if you refresh the original cedar oil-based finish with our exclusive Cedar Finish Refresher.
