CARVED CEDAR BARREL SIGN
The Barrel's iconic shape is timeless. Developed by the Celts around 350 BC, they were already using watertight, barrel-shaped wooden containers that were able to withstand stress and could be rolled and stacked. The technique of bending wood into shape through heating they most likely borrowed from boat building, where it was used to bend planks for ship's hulls as early as the ancient Phoenicians. Our rustic, deeply engraved carved wood signs will keep their warm colors ranging from mellow amber, reddish cinnamon, and rich sienna browns if you refresh the finish we used at manufacture with our proprietary outdoor FINISH REFRESHER. Use it every other summer, and your Carved Cedar Signs will "Gracefully Weather a Lifetime!"™
