RUSTIC CARVED BARREL STYLE SIGN
The Barrel's iconic shape is timeless. Developed by the Celts around 350 BC, they were already using watertight, barrel-shaped wooden containers that were able to withstand stress and could be rolled and stacked. The technique of bending wood into shape through heating they most likely borrowed from boat building, where it was used to bend planks for ship's hulls as early as the ancient Phoenicians. 2000 years and counting. Makes our 50+ years carving seem insignificant! 'Nuff Said! Our rustic, hand-carved, and deeply engraved wood signs will keep their warm colors ranging from mellow amber, reddish cinnamon and rich sienna browns if you refresh the finish once a year with our Cedar Wood Treatment & Refresher! Spray it all over (edges face and back) and just let it soak in - it'll only take about 3 minutes.
